Includes sections of libretto and a musical incipit in Strauss’ hand inscribed in pencil and black ink on preliminary page and on page following last page of score. Dedication in black ink inscribed by composer on front cover verso: Meinem lieben Freunde Richard Specht zur Erinnerung an Weihnachten 1915 in Garmisch. Dr. Richard Strauss.
